Make sure you get up and stretch out

Writers tend to focus too much on their work; they will not do anything but write. Don't abuse the writing process.

Get up, stretch out, and take a quick break. The shoulders, eyes, and the fingers need a moment to rest. At this very moment, my shoulders feel like I have 200 pounds of bricks resting on them.

Next time you find yourself becoming stiff, and your mind feels warped in the process, get up, stretch out, and take a break. When you return back to your work, you will feel renewed and ready to make the writing stick on the pages.

Take that well deserved break
