College Materialism: How attending college can become a materialist decision

High school graduates must make an important decision to attend college. Applying to attend a local community college makes sense at first. However, the college materialism begins to take shape prior to transferring to a new college. How is attending college a materialism decision?

College students want to be recognized as being successful. Prestigious colleges entice materialistic college students to invest their time and energy into the admission process. The college student would rather attend their dream school than focus on earning a good college degree. Degree programs in thousands of colleges offer college students flexibility to receive an excellent education. 

Thus, materialistic college student seek to feed their want urges. Attending the top colleges give them bragging rights. Therefore, materialistic college students automatically assume they're better than most students. 

College materialism occurs when a college student refuses to attend any random college. Their mind is set on one particular college such as NYU, UCLA, USC, Harvard, Princeton University, and most top universities. These materialistic college students ridicule those who they think are not as their level. 

If the college student is somehow rejected from the school of choice, then they refuse to attend their college graduation. They worry to much about what people think of them than being proud of their accomplishments. College materialism clouds these students' judgement in making future career decisions.

Materialistic college students refuse to accept a low paying job. In result, the college graduate will wait until the perfect job career arrives instead of searching for a decent job to help them move up the career ladder. Oddly enough, the materialistic college student accepts failure to satisfy their wants.  

College materialism is a product of the materialistic world. Materialistic people adopt their selfish urges in practically every thought and action, including the decision to choose a college. If their college application is rejected, they elect to attend a lesser college under the radar to fulfill the requirements. It is likely the college student will skip their graduation out of fear that others will judge their college decision to attend a lesser college. 

In essence, college materialism is one of many materialistic challenges with future consequences. The college graduate will refuse to accept a job unrelated to their degree field. College materialism is not a common term, but you will discover college students with a want to attend the top schools at all costs. They don't care how much money their parents must spend to keep their selfish wants manifesting within their souls. College materialism is a materialistic decision among materialistic people who sought after attending the top colleges notable to mainstream education.
