Materialism at its Best

No offense to any women out there. This poem was prepared as a creative short piece.

The greatest thinkers in the world knew about these spoiled creatures

Buying everything they want is never enough to fulfill their need

Watching them frolic from want to want, worried about what others think about their features

Sometimes men can't help but to think they are just another breed

Shiny metals, sparkling stones, fancy attire, and lavish trips are constantly in store

Taking blame for everything they do is the only way to prevent an impending doom

Making them happy with delivering thoughtful gifts ends up exposing their true core

With the stress of trying to make life right for a woman, all a man can hope for is to end up in a tomb
