Writing tip for the day 8/26/09

The writing tip for the day is to pick a word that you never used before. Look in the dictionary, in a book, or in an article. Find the definition of the word. Use the new word in a series of sentences. Depending on the meaning of the word, consider using it in a visual description or as a audio cue.

In order to improve your writing, finding a new word each day will broaden your vocabulary, and further expand your knowledge. Make it a habit to learn a new word each day. Don't just write down the word, use the word as you would with your education.

Without gaining new word knowledge, you may find yourself using the same words. Learning new words will help you to write more efficiently. Pick up a new word now. Learn the word, use the word in a sentence, and master the word in your writing.

Have fund learning a new word.
