Recycling bottles

Is recycling really worth the effort? Sure, recycling helps improve the environment. In recycling, you're doing a moral thing to save the planet. I thought about my admirable act of recycling while sorting out a cart full of cans and bottles for an hour in the blistering heat.

After the sorting process, I had to stand in line for another hour. With a ton of cans and bottles towering over the cart, I made a measly $11.50. At least I'm saving the world and making it safe for the future generations.
