The Miami Heat closed out another NBA title in an epic series versus the San Antonio Spurs. Both teams played great ball, but the best team (Heat) pulled out with the victory
The Spurs were one Ray Allen shot way from winning the title Tuesday night. However, Ray Allen caught a pass from Chris Both to send Game 6 into overtime. The Heat won the game by 3 points to force a Game 7.
Most true basketball fans knew the Heat were favored to win Game 7. As close as the game was with a half minute remaining, LeBron James carried his team to victory like 2012. The Miami Heat repeat as NBA champions.
Ray Allen is a huge reason the Heat won the title. If Allen missed the final shot in regulation of Game 6, the Heat would have lost by 3 points. We know from the last Game 7 winner at home (Los Angeles Lakers in 2010) that you must play the game until the clock expires.
Congratulations to LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Ray Allen, and the rest of the bunch on a great series. The San Antonio Spurs deserve credit for making this series one of the best we've seen in a long time.
Hopefully, the Sacramento Kings can rebuild their team to compete again like 2001-2004. The OKC Thunder experienced the same fate as the Kings with losing Russell Westbrook at the worst possible time. Kevin Durant proved he can disappear when his team depended on him the most.
LeBron James learned from his disappearing act in 2011 to capture two straight MVP awards and two NBA title with being named the Finals MVP both times. The Heat performed at an optimum level in winning their second Game 7 in the playoffs this year (Pacers and Spurs) Great 2012-2013 NBA season.
